As Qole stated, jffs2 (flash) is a compressed filesystem. So when you copy it to and ext2 or ext3 partition, it uncompresses along the way.

Yes, the internal flash filesystem uses jffs2 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JFFS2), a compressed file system designed for flash memory.

Something went goofy, there are still some bugs. I suggest to reinstall bootmenu, if this does not work you may need to reclone and redo the bootmenu.

Yes when you run pbeasy and partition, it will wipe the card and reboot. The card is partitioned but not formatted. When you run the cloning process it will format the FAT/SWAP/EXT partitions, thus...
