Ya. When I last updated I was having the same problem, until I rebooted. I didn't try rebooting because I think the previous updates worked right away.

from what i can tell, hildon-desktop is able to load, but not unload, applets or tray icons dynamically.
i have seen the desktop system go nuts over a applet thats no longer on-screen before so... |

Well, I managed to have some free time, so there will be no 0.2.28...
0.3.0: - FIXED: Settings writing. - ADDED: Confirmation dialog for reboot and shutdown. - ADDED: Translations (Russian). - ADDED: Theme supporting. - ADDED: Farenheit/Celsius temperature support. - ADDED: Turning sounds on/off. - UPDATED: "Power management" is renamed to "Device mode". - ADDED: "Lock screen and keys" to "Device mode" P.S. After the SSE (or if it fails and you have to reflash and restore) to 5.2008, the dependency needs to be python2.5-dbus. You might want to do "python-dbus | python2.5-dbus" (I have something similar in my minigpsd - it may be a double-bar, i.e. || instead of |).

I got the same in the same conditions.
But with extras enabled, I just did as root : Code:
dpkg -i /var/tmp/advanced-power-0.3.0-3_all.deb ; apt-get -f install |
