It really isn't the biggest player anymore. Popularity wasn't even a low priority, much less in their higher priorities. At this point, Nokia today is the glowing ember on a candle fading away after Microsoft's mole blew out the flame of employees' and customers' interests. "Here," they'll say, "you don't want that! You want this!" and put a lighter in your hand. Sure, it's still light, but it's inconvenient and will eventually burn your hand if you want to use it for too long. Meanwhile, everybody else has already moved on to electric lighting. :P

To be serious. If Nokia doesn't succes soon with Lumia series they probadly fire Elop, sells smartphone division and focus only on Asha lowend series.

Just make sure Elop doesn't see your non-Microsoft phone, you know what he'll do.

On the good side, 1 year graph doesn't look so bad. Mostly because July 2012 was Nokias low point.

Elop isn't being fired. He's firing, not getting fired.

And in another year or so the bottom will fall out of that market too. Why buy a crippled Asha when you can get a very decent Android for the same price?

Nokia's only hope now is to start selling Android phones. If they want to experiment with WM, Asha or Sailfish they can do it as a secondary market. But what do I know? I'm not getting paid Elop money to ruin companies...
