It would be nice if you could push this bug a bit. http://mxr.maemo.org/ would be quite good tool for this but it is outdated for some time. Updated Diablo and Fremantle would be nice to have there. Thanks.

The problem, really, is that MXR exists solely thanks to the efforts timeless puts in his spare time. It's not really an "officially" supported part of maemo.org, it's hosted off-site and timeless is the only one with access (I'm sure he'd be happy for some help, though, if somebody who knew what they were doing could lend a hand).

I've considered a finding out if it would be better served by being hosted on maemo.org-proper, but never bothered to ask.

Well as for the word "officially" - you can get to it via maemo.org -> Development -> Sources (on the right) -> got to bottom and see "A cross-reference is available in the maemo.org Cross-Reference". No word about how unofficial it is. Also as you see in the bugzilla, MXR is component of Website. Again no hint about how unofficial it is :-)

Of course the solution is not to remove it from there but to dedicate some resources to it. It is quite useful.

Which is why I endeavored to explain its situation, why it might be taking time to update, and why asking Quim to push it may not be totally effective. :)

Obviously. If somebody wants to volunteer. . . .

Well, if they managed to make it look official to random visitors, the next step is perhaps to make it really official just like rest of maemo.org is. I admit I am biased but I guess for developers this may have much higher priority than let's say implementing yet another great karma aggregator plugin ;-) OK, let's move this to maemo-community.

This mxr is more a priority to be handled by the maemo.org dev team, council, Tero Kojo and/or Ville Lavonius (Development Platform product manager). Go bug them. :)
