Any opinions on the Sony Ericsson Xperia pro. It has a qwerty keyboard and runs Android but haven't heard many opinions about it.

A good Linux Port for the Fujitsu-F-07C would be great

i guess since its x86 it can handle any Os supported by a regular Pc including Fedora, debian & Ubuntu
i wouldnt be sure. The HW is probably closed source. Like, the Mainboard, WiFi and GSM Chipset etcetc.
So, it may be able to somehow boot a Linux, but it may not be actually a working System.
But i would love to see Ubuntu Remix or something like that on this device.

The F-07C looks good alright, but do keep in mind that it apparently has some hideous sort of Fujitsu-Symbian on it. If it were Belle, it would be just fine for mobile phone mode, but that doesn't look like it...I wonder if it would be possible to install some other OS for the phone mode?

WP7 and W7 on the same device would also be kind of funny way.

Buy a N9 ...

I had a N900, and I was always thinking on buying another mobile with keyboard, but after try N9 I can tell you that it is not necessary.

(I had also an N950 and I don't use the keyboard!)

I thought Windows 7?

I tried many devices. Even on highend Tablets im missing the HW KB of my N900. SW KB takes display space and, even worse, if the device is under high load the feedback usually is way to slow for normal typing, so you never know if you have hit the right button. This drives me insane in under 100 Milliseconds.

According to Fujitsu it has two operating systems; Win7 for the computer mode and some sort of Symbian for phone mode.

1 Attachment(s)
Me I left my N900 it broke the $/%/$? usb port and no warranty. My replacement was a Samsung Galaxy S2 but. I have it since 2 months and I some of the feature of the N900 I really miss are the following:

This community
keyboard
FM transmiter
infrared port
better multitasking

Stuff that is better
screen
faster

Samsung is supposed to have Samsung Galaxy Glide that will have a keyboard, this will be before the end of December so I will change mine for this one. I think this will not be the N900 but a replacement as there is no replacement, Nokia wanted that way so we have to live without it and change company...

That one does look interesting. I'll have to keep a look out for reviews on that.
