Frankly.... someone else who understands "mac-eese" should weigh in to give you a hand on this one.

Macs are not that bad. Nokia has supported Mac's from early days. Flashers are available as well as some sort of Mac sync utility

But in short the problem is solved (just by rerunning the same command, without disturbing the usb connection).

I did follow this as per the wiki page
http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_f...roubleshooting
where it says

Quote:

If flashing stops with "Write failed after 1048576 bytes usb_bulk_write: Resource temporarily unavailable", do not disconnect your N900 from usb and try again the flasher command.
In my case the error was different, but the solution worked.

Now that is good news.
Sorry I wasn't able to help much on that one.

I have just ran into this exact problem yesterday. Luckily, I was able to find all the tools needed online on a single page. I have managed to harvest everything, so if you need any of the following files, just message me and I will send you the file.

1. RX-44_DIABLO_5.2008.43-7_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin
2. libusb-win32-bin-1.2.6.0.zip
3. maemo_flasher-3.5_2.5.2.2.exe
4. maemo_flasher-3.5_2.5.2.2.tar.gz
5. maemo_flasher-3.5_2.5.2.2_i386.deb
6. maemo_flasher-3.5_2.5.2.2_i386.dmg

You would try it at your own risk.

Good luck.

Hi,

I'm just passing by to leave my mirror for those six files you pointed, probably I got them from the same source as you did:

Dropbox folder

It contains:

1. RX-44_DIABLO_5.2008.43-7_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin (actually 7zipped at max compression, LMZA2)
2. libusb-win32-bin-1.2.6.0.zip
3. maemo_flasher-3.5_2.5.2.2.exe
4. maemo_flasher-3.5_2.5.2.2.tar.gz
5. maemo_flasher-3.5_2.5.2.2_i386.deb
6. maemo_flasher-3.5_2.5.2.2_i386.dmg
7. libusb-win32-src-0.1.12.1.tar.gz

PS: I also got some other N810 related binaries on the website I found it (here), if someday it goes offline I got a copy of those too.
