Nokia Harmattan PowerPack's ...

Hi all,

Since I resurrect my N9 from "MALF", I think some stuff I have keep on my computer can be of some interrest for users of TMO.

Here is the PowerPack's 0.2.1, 0.3.0 & 0.3.1 :

- PowerPack 0.2.1 (md5sum : 23801af8195e88218b7216ea1d40b56e).
- PowerPack 0.3.0 (md5sum : ebf196c3326281ef8157ca47b9ab7291).
- PowerPack 0.3.1 (md5sum : e69c682392978c6a00ed611065b9da5f).

On my side, after reflashing my precious, I have applied PowerPack 0.2.1, and rebooted, then applied PowerPack 0.3.0 and rebooted, and finally applied PowerPack 0.3.1 and rebooted another time.

The device doesn't seem to suffer from these updates for the moment.

Hope you like it :) ...

These packages that work? I'm asking because I want to know more or less for that work and see where improvements give the phone. Thank you:D

Or just use direct link to powerpack's official page: http://forum.openos.pl/resources/file/229
And yeah, you can (or even should) install only the latest version, 0.3.1.

That link gives me:

General Error

SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

User 'u210907005_taz' has exceeded the 'max_user_connections' resource (current value: 3) [1226]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

:D

One positive observation: you (arcean) use the apostrophe in PowerPack's correctly. The OP does not :p

Thanks arcean, BTW, the original site my PowerPack's come from, was "meegoforum.pl".

The date I downloaded packages following :

I have tried to download the 0.3.1 from the link you provided, to verify the md5sum, but it look like something is bad :

Also, like pichlo, the site http://forum.openos.pl/resources/file/229 doesn't seem stable (it sometime work/don't work).

Any advice ?

Aren't these the same as Ancelads PowerPack?

Actually, i'm responsible for every powerpack release ;). So if you have any problem, hit to me. Originally powerpack was hosted on meegoforum.pl, after some changes we renamed it to openos.pl.

So, arcean, please, can you at least fix the link you provided ...

I just recheck to download it, and always same error (bad zip).

Ohh, I have no idea why, but it works for me :|.
I think the best idea is to host the file somewhere here, on maemo.org server.

gabrielharrison 2016-01-25 07:36

You can install it using N9QTweak, menu option HH. I've just tested that method and it still working :-)

My bad. Your and Ancelads nicks are somewhat similar that it got wrong in my memory.

Btw. I remember there being some confusion whether you could use both PowerPack and FasterN9 together. I for one always suffered from programs refusing to start after couple of days uptime if I used them together. Was there ever definite answer if they could ne used together? Or answer to problems they manifested if used together?

A question. Is it ok to install Powerpack 3.1 in Harmattan 1.3?
I have aegis-hack installed, so would "aegis-dpkg -i *" from unpacked archive directory, and as devel-su, be the right way?

Edit: oh, i have read along, now it's clear. I guess it's ok to install.
