Might be, but that would be stupid. There are still new Xperia X to get for reasonable money and I think the seller knows that. So why don't try it with an offer, If you want to get one. Of course it would be nicer if there was a price idea. But anyway worth a shot...

I am not arguing with you. It may not be entirely rational. But buying and selling is not always a rational process. If I do not see a price tag, I simply move on, even if I may risk missing a bargain. That's just how it is. Just see the reaction in another thread.

Maybe you are right. So let's agree that there is a price tag missing and the colour is not a really beloved one.
At least on the price tag the seller could change something... ;)

Colour should not be a problem, even though I have no idea what "lime gold" looks like. something that's both greenish and gold at the same time?

FWIW, I quite like the colour. What I do not like is the size. A bit too big. But you can perhaps try to persuade me. It is the same width as my Jolla 1 and "only" 12 mm taller. On the other hand the thickness (or rather thinness) does not inspire much confidence.

Just for the record - if a device has locked bootloder that can't be unlocked (unlock allowed: no in the service menu) then Sailfish OS can't be installed on it.

Found that out the hard way a while ago when a friend of mine bough a new Xperia X from as it turns out a rather shady e-shop. Apparently if bootloader unlocking is set as not allowed for a device there is no known way around it & it precludes booting any unsigned OS images, including Sailfish OS.

In the end the friend returned the device and is currently contemplating if he should try his luck with another eshop from the dwindling number of shops that sell the X in CZ or wait for the currently much more widely available XA2 to be supported.

That is obvious but isn't the solution obvious too? Get Jolla to sign the damn OS. After all, this is supposed to be an official release. I would happily pay extra 5€ if that is the problem

And yes, the availability of an official release of an alternative OS is the only reason I would even consider giving the X a second look. I want to use the damn thing, not play with it. Which means no community ports.

Just as a matter of market feedback:
Disappointing level of interest over here for the exact reason that I got one for 80 Euro's, home delivered including box , charger, cover and unused headphones.

As for the "sailors":
suffering the Sailfish X installation procedure evokes feelings the opposite of my romanticized image of being out sailing.
So I would have gladly paid your asking price + transport cost if it came with Sailfish OS pre-installed.

If i sold it here with sfos on it the price would be higher, license stll 50 euro, so figure out the min price u would sell or buy a sailfish x.
