(SOLD) - Nokia Dali "A.k.a. N950 Silver 64GB" Unreleased Prototype with unreleased Dali UI - Extremely RARE!!!
 

(SOLD) I have an extremely rare, unreleased Nokia N950 Silver prototype (64GB), with unreleased, and rare firmware (not the retail Meego revision that we know from the retail N9, or even the limited edition black N950 for Developers)

Its UI is completely different, and unique.

Since it is highly collectible, and it is in an acceptable condition without the common pixel-bleeding (its screen is perfect), its price, only for the members of this forum will be 1500 euro. If I take it to ebay, it will be more.

There have been common black N950 at this or much higher price, or even N950 with screen bleeding, so I think this should be a reasonable price for its rarety and condition.

I still want to see an actual photograph of that legendary maemo/meego Vertu prototype. Apparently had a titanium case and sapphire screen so mega tough.
I suspect it has a more luxury appearance considering vertu liked to add leather and ceramic bits to their phones though a hard core mil-spec tool appearance would be more to my preference.

The one you show doesn't boot at all it seems. But hardware-wise, it has a slightly different camera cover than the "usual" N950. I don't know if it can be safely removed, but I wouldn't try it. :)

You are very lucky! I had seen this UI only once many years ago! This unreleased firmware is very rare! And I think more beautiful than the final N9 Meego :)

People sell things for obvious reasons... But for the specific one, I am in dilemma. I would like to keep it, as it is the rarest proto I have ever had (rarer than the 3D-Touch Nokia McLaren for instance), but if it is to sell, that would be only to a collector that respects this device, and of course for a justifiable price.

After long time in this dilemma, if I would let go the rarest prototype I have ever owned or not, I finally came to the decision to let it go. But that would not be for nothing. I mention the final price in the first post.

To my knowledge, there is only one more owner here in the community, I am not sure if there is anyone else in the world...

The original, unreleased Dali UI as we have never seen before.

I can't tell exactly, but a bit higher than the price I had offered it here... Still, only half of the price another similar one was sold several years ago... Maybe there are not more than these 2-3 devices of its kind in the world...

Anyways, we always have to give something to take something. I might start a new thread (not in sale section) to dig into the world of another cancelled prototype (if time allows).
