My small repo on MEGA for MeeGo and Maemo
Hi
I started my small repo on MEGA (and mirror on archive.org), for MeeGo and Maemo. I mostly develop it for MeeGo, as I use it more, but Maemo also included there. I upload apps, games, organised in categories. Link: https://mega.nz/folder/gihHHQpJ#19J8gL4gIA0zXC7fo8Xkeg https://archive.org/details/maemomeegorepo Regards |

I upload here everything I archived about N9. Apps, games, bootloaders, alternative systems, tweaks and many more

Re: My small repo on MEGA for MeeGo and Maemo
Thanks for the effort you put into this!
Sorry to be that guy, but in the long run it's pointless to do it on a service like mega - in 1 or 2 years the files will expire and then what? The forums are full of expired <insert_commercial_upload_service> links. Better use archive.org. You might even find that some of your files are already there. BTW and not to nitpick, but wouldn't a software repo(sitory) require to be able to download directly, without having to go through javascript-infested pages with big green buttons... |
Re: My small repo on MEGA for MeeGo and Maemo
I will do mirror on archive.org
But it's so slow :((( And I can manage MEGA easili with MEGA Sync - i copy files via explorer and it automatically synces. Ok, I will do mirror |

Re: My small repo on MEGA for MeeGo and Maemo
Thanks for the effort you put into this, and thanks to WunderWungiel for uploading it to archive.org!
In the long run it's better this way. And direct download links for each file: https://archive.org/download/maemomeegorepo |
Re: My small repo on MEGA for MeeGo and Maemo
has that archive.org file all? how big it should be total?

Re: My small repo on MEGA for MeeGo and Maemo
Mirror on archive.org is inactual.
Uploading files to archive.org is really hard. |
Re: My small repo on MEGA for MeeGo and Maemo
Big update!
I transferred N9 repository to my own server, accessible directly on phone :) You have two options: - Browse http://wunderwungiel.ct8.pl/meego/repo/ - Or, better option, add my APT repo! Run echo "deb http://wunderwungiel.ct8.pl/meego/apt-repo stable main" >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/wunderwungiel.list" in Terminal, then apt-get update. Both commands as root. From now, you can browse repository via MeeCatalog app and install using Aegis-apt-get. Look at screenshots, how well it works now :D https://i.imgur.com/pZeWCtB.png https://i.imgur.com/ExnPyVh.png https://i.imgur.com/Yw6IOp0.png Also, you can check my Telegram channel with stuff for Maemo/MeeGo. Archive.org is not longer needed for direct, not JS-heavied downloading :D |
Re: My small repo on MEGA for MeeGo and Maemo
Repo on my site is not full, as I have limited memory. Only apps, games, MIDlets. For more, check old MEGA link:

Re: My small repo on MEGA for MeeGo and Maemo
Dear dredlok706, great work. Can I use it on the Nokia N9? If yes, could you point me to some instructions please? Kind regards, PaulePanter
