Camera phone competition July 2013: "Macro" *Voting*

I've noticed a lack of competitions on TMO.
So, I'm gonna change the history.
Maybe.

The competitions would start on 1st of the month and end the last day of the month.
Users can enter only one photo and can change it only once.
As the month progresses, more users will add their photos and we should numerize them.
Then moving to last three days of the month, the voting starts.Everyone can vote.
The photo with most votes wins and the user can choose the next month theme.
If you prolong this up to three days, then the follow-up chooses the theme.

That was just a little introduction.

Here are the rules:
Photo must be taken with a mobile phone.
Post processing allowed (don't do too much!).
Photo must be taken in Macro mode.
Think colour, shapes, surfaces, details..
Photo must be taken during the month the competition is in.
I will look at the EXIFs and disqualify the photos taken last month.
Photo must contain EXIF data, it doesn't matter where the photo is hosted.
Photo can be changed only once.
You must upload your own photo (anywhere) and put the image here using IMG tags.
Don't put too large images (downsize the original photo!).
You must put the original photo's link under the photo.
You must numerize your photo properly (for voting purposes).
You can vote on the last three days of the month.
Last day the winner and the results are posted.
The winner can participate in the next month theme and he can vote.

Here's my example of a properly posted contribution. :)

Photo must be taken with a mobile phone.

Ok, so i can use a pureview and edit everything with photoshop.
Strange rules for a competition on TMO.

Re: Camera phone competition July 2013: "Macro"

Oh yeah, no post processing unfortunately.
C'mon, these are camera phones.
The Pureview 808 is a DSLR of the camera phones.
About the rules:
What's strange?I tried to cover everything.

Re: Camera phone competition July 2013: "Macro"

So add "only for N9 and N900" because you are on the TMO forum.
That's what i mean.
I don't want to see a lumia crap win this , here....

Oh.
I see.
Some people call others fanboys.
Aren't you then fanboys?
I wanted to do good to this forum with this thread competition but I see that there are enough of them already.

Nice photos guys.
Okay, I don't mind Post Process but just don't overdo it.

Edit:
TheoX you are missing EXIF data.
Don't know if the app you used deleted EXIF but it must be visible.

I uploaded the photo USING THE FORUM UPLOAD. Maybe that deleted the photo's EXIF, what other hosts keep the EXIF?

Just wait, by the end of the month this thread will be much longer, and choosing will be much more difficult.
Best wishes.

I hope this, I am not a professional photographer, not even close, but I enjoy good quality photos, so I am really anxious to see with what people will enter this contest.

Also, OP, please regard this, Add the pictures in the 1st thread, so we don't browse a full thread to see the whole gallery. Also, we get 2-3 professional photographers so they will judge :).

What? I think you are trying to communicate but I get nothing!

And we have a winner!

He says that if the winner chooses to make a narrow, too-specific topic for next month competition, most people will be left out.
It's not like anybody can jump to North Pole. And sunrise on North Pole happens like, once a year? Depending on the month, it's possible the conditions will be impossible to fulfil.
Don't bet on the winner, just yet. The clarity of the raindrop is stunning, yes. But I personally prefer another photograph amidst those already submitted in the thread - maybe, because there is too much of the violet-red color in the last one.
Unfortunately, I am not much of a traveller, or I would have found underground caves to practice macro-photography inside. You know, stalactites-stalagmites-waterfalls-et-cetera... But there aren't much of these caves open to visitors. You cannot just walk inside: the organic matter, soil you would leave from your shoes would surely disturb the pristine water and the processes going on in the stones. That's why there are catwalks. Besides, they need to be sure nobody gets lost inside, in the cold.
Besides, you could theoretically take many macro-photographs and stitch the panorama together, with Hugin. As long as you give both original macro-photographs and the resulting panorama.
Best wishes.

Re: Camera phone competition July 2013: "Macro"

I will update the first post.
The winner must choose a theme not too abstract because others may not understand what to shoot.
And the winner must choose a theme not too hard.
He's probably not going to choose "Sunset from the ISS".
And we have a whole month to get new entries! :)

Cheers

E: I give up on the EXIF because for most the EXIF gets deleted.
So, PLEASE don't pick a shot from last year, take it THIS MONTH please!!

E2:I won't update the first post, better yet, I'll make a new post when I close for voting. So you have time until the 28th to make an entry, so on the 29th, 30th and 31st is the voting!!

E3:@soryuuha your first photo was taken in february. You changed your entry.IF the second entry wasn't taken in July, it would be disqualified.Better watch out on that, OK?And I'm saying this for all people.

I hope you like it, and yes, this is MACRO too, but the exif was destroyed by this forum's uploader, and I don't think I have the original somewhere around :). The picture was taken with the Sony U5 @ 8megapixels, in HDR mode :).
