Vote.
No matter about how long to wait. No matter about what was done wrong during development or in project management. It's a step towards a open mobile. |
Re: Who is still interested in Neo900?
"It's a step towards a open mobile."
I keep hearing such words.... If such mantras repeated work for you and others... all the power to you... But frankly ... such statements are no more than guessing. pure conjecture. No one has any idea whether what the neo project will do ...in the final end... to further ANY step towards an open mobile... |
Re: Who is still interested in Neo900?
endsormeans, I stopped reading your posts a long time ago. Your post are not constructive in any way only telling something in a negative manner. I also have problems how this project is done and about its progress. Please stop posting and telling the same all the time.
Sorry for that. |

I have been looking here http://talk.maemo.org/memberlist.php...<r=L&page=23 but it did not show up. As well as a TMO search did not spit it out. (even with wildcard * used!) did not bither to search outside |

2. even if then it would be a chinese HMD device made/copy-catted (knowing almost every device is coming from there) 3. with the history of Nokia devices I may not even think to buy it |
Re: Who is still interested in Neo900?
Oops! I hope folks are not taking my post seriously. I just rearranged letters of Leste, which, as pointed out earlier, is same letters as estel.
I apologize if I caused confusion or created false hope. Again sorry... |
Re: Who is still interested in Neo900?
@ itsNotMe
I beg to differ.. firstly a blanket statement such as "Your posts are not constructive in any way only telling something in a negative manner." I suggest you just look to my signature and you will find plenty of links to constructive posts. and hardly in a negative manner.. and many many more elsewhere.. please point to me all of your work at elevating and improving maemo and our community. I would like to see your constructive work here. Secondly ... show me... show me how this marvel of as neo has brought about... miraculously ... an open mobile for us. Point at exactly the "thing" ..in the neo project ... point at the very "thing" in the neo project that is going to be actually "in" the next open mobile... and when the next open mobile is released... please point out to me the PROOF "that exact thing that was contributed FROM the neo project TO that finished open mobile device" .... and I will gladly and happily apologize. Until then you have no visible , tangible, physical thing called "real evidence" to back up any of the claim you espouse. it is pure hot air It is pure conjecture that ANYTHING neo has, is or will end up being used in any open mobile , at this point. @ mscion oh mannnnnn!?!? |

But given the spirit of what the NeoN900 means and could mean, there's really nothing else out there like it. It is building on something that spawned fans and created a difference. Many folks here compare each and every device to their beloved N900. Or in some cases, N800 or N810. The point being... not much constructive can come about when there's nothing to point towards. But we can speculate all day... it is a forum. Who knows... something constructive may come out of that. That's my take. |
