also just because your n900 has lasted almost a decade without problems don't think the micro usb port isn't going to break one day without a warning

Never ever the back pocket.
Since it is small enough in profile to fit in pants pockets...
It is a hazard if it goes in the back pocket.

You single guys out there ...and guys with relationship problems ...
There is a real quick fix ..

I deliberately gave my girlfriend a n900 and told her to put it in her front pants pocket ...so as not to break it by sitting on it in the rear pants pocket.
and to never give the phone number out to anyone else.
to mute the ringer ...
and just leave it on vibrate.

I call her about a dozen times a day ...
to tell her I am thinking about her..
funny thing is she never picks up ...
just rings and rings and rings on my end...
she's my fiance now..
Loves her n900.
