I almost forgot about the contest existing for a while, didn't make the picture for that but it seems right :). Also didn't even realize that seagull was there when shooting it.

Taken with Unihertz Titan Pocket, cropped and did auto white balance in gimp.

How do I attach an image in a way that you can fully see it, like everyone is doing? Attaching my photo makes it look super large and you can only see half of it...

There is a helper thread here where photos can be uploaded and then linked with the [IMG] tag in a post:
https://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=100956

Its a limitation of our forum sadly and needs a work around for now.
Self hosting and linking is also an option.

Here's my entry. Beautiful sunset at the beach. Shot on my Nokia N900, using the default camera application. No post-shot editing whatsoever. And still a stunning picture

Thanks for the tip, I managed to attach the picture better in my post as you can see above. Cheers! :)

Taken with my 808 from the balcony of our new flat. Cropped a bit.
I have a whole album which I will try to share tomorrow, but this is my entry.

Ugh, in the age of taking offense, i suddenly feel super impacted by you competing with an 808.
That's..., That's just unfair. :D

Great sky!

Is that even a phone? I think it is a camera with some phone functionalities. A camera isn't allowed in that competition. NOO WAAAY. :p:D
I seriously think about glueing my jolla1 on my DSLR, for next month competition...

leaving jokes aside. Why are there nowadays no proper protection sliders for the lenses any more. On any phone I have since my good old N900, there comes a point where the lens coating is to worn to make reasonable pictures, and you have to rub it off. Unfortunately, that results in dull pictures in difficult light conditions. That's really annoying.

Planned obsolescence.
