It's acting like a desktop machine running without video acceleration and without VESA support.

Install the Video Center app linked in my first post and see for yourself.

Looks pretty good to me. I was pleasently suprised. The app itself shows some polish as well. :)

The link for the N800 is http://videolinks.nokia.com/servicecatalogue/N800/. It's not the same link.

It appears to redirect you to the mobile page... which the N800 can't play because it does not support real player by rtsp, only by http.

Did anyone try this link?

http://videolinks.nokia.com/site/europe/

On my desktop it takes me to a list of Youtube videos and it's obviously formatted for a mobile screen. I don't have my N800 with me, but if I did I think I could simply click on one of the video thumbnails to see if it's supported. The video format isn't recognized on my desktop.

Note that this is the actual web pages, not a service catalogue. It gives you a very good idea of what the service looks like anyway.

If you go to Nokia's new YouTube partner site >> http://m.youtube.com/?client=ytpartner99 << the vids will load into media player, flash the "Real Player" intro, then "format not supported" pops up...
