Hello everyone,
Just an update... I got the missing libffi4 installed over using this thread

It would appear that a lot of people got bitten by this problem this morning. There seems to be quite a few applications that won't install after updates.
AS a result I got Python installed. Now I am going to go to the new firmware and start this all over.
