I'm back again,

Tried over the weekend the above, without it working. Used flasher to set to R&D mode and turn USB Host on, still no luck. Ran dmesg and got this

I'm searching for what is an "error -100" but have not found it yet.

Does re-flashing the 700 replace everything? or are there some info retained by the 770?

Yep, all is gone. (except for whatever is on the memory card.)

I re flashed my unit, but it still remembered what date it was. Is there a factory reset on this unit?

It may be similar to a PC clock in BIOS: It keeps the time even if you disconnect it from the wall... I don't think there is user accessible CMOS reset button/jumper in any of the Tablets.

I dident re-flash mine when I did it. I just made the script and ran it, that was all.

If you have a usb keyboard try using that. it dosent require any drivers and should work automatically, and it will let us know if the usb is even working at all. maby your usb power inverted is bad?

Tried the usb keyboard, I can type, but hitting the enter key brings up the on screen keyboard. I saw something about that before, I'll have to find it again.

Flash drive is now listed as a scsi device, but I have not been able to figure out how or where to mount. Will try again latter

Gave it another shot this morning, and it is working!?
Only thing is I not sure what fixed it. But what I did
a: set to r&D mode
b: with flasher, set to host mode.
c: checked batteries in power inverter
d: checked all connections.

This did not work yesterday, but plugged it in this morning and it worked. I'm a happy camper.
