Re: Unable to Install Kagu
Well I am a noobie too, but this is the way I did it. I got my N800 last week and tried to install Kagu and was missing some of those files too. So I tried to install GAIM, and whatever I did enabled the missing kagu files. I'm sure I did extra steps, but this worked for me.
I only had the default catalogs so I had to add 2 new ones. 1. from the side bar go to Tools -> Application Manager 2. then from the pull down menu at the top go to Tools -> Application Catalog 3. now the default catalogs are shown. 4. hit new catalog 5 use this info Catalog Name: GAIM Web address: http://repository.maemo.org/ Distribution: bora Components: free non-free then click OK 6. hit new catalog Catalog Name: Maemo Hackers Web Address: http://maemo-hackers.org/apt Distribution: mistral Components: main 7 once you made those it will refresh your catalogs, and now you will have files to install GAIM and Kagu....maybe. |
