Gtalk/Jabber/XMPP ID in profile in tablettalk
 

Why there's no XMPP/Jabber/GTalk field in profile menu?
That's really strange that main IM on Maemo (and International RFC Internet standard) is not supported this way.

Will it be fixed soon?

There is a Jabber option already. Just go into your User CP and Edit Options.

I don't see any field to input my JID in Edit Options.
I meant: JID input field in Edit Profile - Section Instant Messaging.

Is this something that went away with the new theme? i don't see an XMPP input field any more :(

What is the possibility of running a jabber/XMPP server from maemo.org? One that could leverage existing accounts?

Or is it even a worthwhile idea?
