start up screen
 

Hi all anyone know how to change the start up screen...ie the nokia standard one thats starts up with the nokia tune....would like to change to one of my own and also maybe change that silly nokia tune.....any ideas?

I was actually looking myself after reading your posts and the splash screen data seems to be in the gconf xml schema. Hope the link helps

Karl, I think (no actully im SURE) zeez means " how often do you guys 'restart' your tablet?"
in canada and in the uk, people use reboot instead of restart...just regional lexical differences...within the same language :)

Indeed. The Internet Tablets just crash occasionally... :rolleyes:

I know that's what he meant. It's just that I almost never reboot/restart/turn off the tablet. In fact, unless I've been toying with alpha-quality software, I only turn my tablet off willingly for a reflash; and I've skipped the last two. You don't want to know the uptime on my N800. Seriously, you don't...
