IBM® System Storage™ N series solutions include integrated antivirus functionality to protect
corporate data from computer viruses. The combined solutions are designed to detect and

N series and antivirus server authentication
The connection between the N series and its antivirus scanning servers is a trusted
connection. Several mechanisms are in place to prevent unauthorized access to the scanning
server:
Scanning servers are subject to authentication and must be members of the backup
operators group on the N series storage system.
Scanning servers register by RPC with the N series storage system.
The antivirus server provides file system, console, and login security.
In addition, locating the antivirus servers in a secure data center that is adjacent to the N
series storage system provides optimal protection. Administrators should secure all network
equipment and servers from unauthorized physical access.

Was 'Apple' invented by Issac newton? I don't get it.

--Me too.

Are you sitting back thinking it's fun to throw BS arguments up because people will respond? It's a message board. People are supposed to. Welcome to the internet, thanks for playing.

--Stop playing, go back to resources.

1.) The 770 isn't an N770 because it's not part of the 'N-Series' because Nokia never said it was, and in Nokia's probable opinion, your opinion doesn't count.

--are you speaking for Nokia ?
N770 is an excellent product.
I will keep naming it N-Series product.

2.) Convulted said 'As far as I know'.

-- his knowledge required update

You're not right. He is. That was as far as he knew.

- wrong. He was not fair, having not verified state of the art before responding.

You wanna argue semantics?
-- are you ?

I'm your guy. I'm getting paid to sit at work right now and have all the time in the world.

- thanks

3.) You're a senior member too. Welcome to the club.

-call me junior member

Wise up, eesh.

Go to IBM resources I referred you in my previous post.

Finally.
Let me call my excellent $280 N770 N-series product forever.

Thanks.
Darius

Uh, the 770 wasn't an N-series device. . . .

What the hell? Lol. Did it ever cross your mind that the IBM N series has NOTHING to do with the Nokia N-Series? Christ...

AFAIK, you said:
[quote=convulted;99491]AFAIK, ITOS2006 does not support one-click installs, which is why all the ".install" arrows are grayed out.

AFAIK, It does mean, you have never used N770 and have never installed anything from maemo.org

AFAIK, N-Series service mark comes from IBM

Darius

I'm with you dude.
I'm now calling my N800 a "Q1167" because I like that much better. In fact, I think I'm going to start renaming everything...
My dog is now Klatu Barada Nikto and my car, well that's of course the Millennium Falcon. :)

(gets more popcorn and sits back)

Lol why didn't I think of that approach :D?
So YoDude, is Q1167 part of the q-Series in mathematics? http://mathworld.wolfram.com/q-Series.html

I have decided that Darius can call his "precioussss" anything he wants... I've moved on... Have 2008OS installed on my "N" 800 and could care less if Darius can't download anything for his "precioussss".

He must have taken some really bad drugs!

Regards,

Omega

Hmm I can imagine someone trying to patent: "A circular form intersected at the 5 o'clock position by a radial line extending inwards from the circle roughly halfway towards its centre and outwards in such a manner so as to be symmetric with respect to the tangent to the circle at the point of intersection."

Apple did, that's their scroll wheel. I call it the N-wheel.

(I don't mind that this thread has degenerated into this tripe... it was BS to begin with.)
