The N810 and N800 will eventually use the exact same OS platform (OS2008). A beta of OS2008 is already available for the N800, there will be a later (presumably bugfixed) version somewhen in December. With OS2008 on both devices they should be similar in speed, as they both will run at 400MHz and having the same CPU, memory etc.

It's slightly smaller, that's the only thing I can think of.. and the transflective screen.

RGB LEDs, better screen, smaller size, keypad, aluminum finish.

Now see that's actually a key point for me. I think one of the things putting me off the 810 is the fact that it is smaller. I know other people have said the 770 is too big but I really like the size of it - probably because I'm 6'4 so you can imagine how big my hands are.

I saw that video ThoughtFix did for the 810 overview and when he was handling it I was surprised how small it looked in his hands. Of course size is a weird thing because I have an E65 phone which is pretty dinky but it handles really well as everything is in the right place...

Again thanks for all the responses. I think I am pretty much sold on the N800 now as my upgrade and the extra £150 I'm saving will go towards the biggest memory card I can find and then the rest will be an extra xmas present for me... result - feels like being a kid again.

Ah yes, I forgot about that screen. Do we know already where Nokia shops for it? :D

+ screen (I NEED THIS SCREEN FOR MY N800 :))
+ keypad slider (having one)
- keypad slider (having d-pad moved onto it)
- kickstand (too small, no way that it can be used as hand-strap)

Size... well, IDK on that. I'm happy with N800 size. I might be happier with N810, or I might not.
Styling is way too subjective, but I think I like the N800 better. The most curvaceous tablet around, and the color scheme is nicer too.
