Well, I just now tried to upgrade the OS2008 using the Nokia Update Wizard.

When I do a cat /proc/component_version, it now shows as:
RX-34
1302
1.1.11

The OS2008 was updated from OS2008 v. 2.2007.50xxxx to the latest OS2008 v. 2.2007.51-3.

The Nokia Loader (nolo) was updated to 1.1.11 version in the OS2008 update. Earlier, mine was showing as 1.7.

N800 from buy.com 4/8 with the power on problem, which resolved with the software update.
