Watching streaming TV

tried to watch TV that I found at http://live-tv-channels.com/watch_tv_online.php?id=113 but even though downloaded the stream cannot open the channel - is there some software that needs to be loaded to permit this?

Re: Watching streaming TV

No Windows Media streams can be played on N800-N810 (I hope just at this time, I still keep my faith about that ability in the future)
Some users reported they were able to play some WM streams, grabbing the stream address, copy and paste in kmplayer...I don't remember very well, anyway never works for me.
Also keep in mind I am running OS2007; ignore if OS2008 could give some WM streams capability, but again I think no way so far....

That's mean you are unable to enjoy at least the 50% of radio/tv streamings available on the web...:(

Yes, in some sense....but can also be interpreted like a kind of censorship..:)

Is Joost open now, thought it was only by invite.

I can stream most WM from sites using the default Media Player on OS2008. No copying and pasting needed.

...yeah im disappointed too..

i use on a daily basis TV TUGA, which is a site developed by portugal to stream many tv channels from all around the world, but the compatability with the internet tablet is extremely shaky.

JOOST is open for a couple of months now. It's content though is quite depressing for my taste at least.

When I get some time, I plan to check Milo. Heard that it's much better.. but you cannot trust anyone these days :p

New method of watching streaming tv, save it on your N800 and off you go!

I'm going to pair it with the speed dial hack! :)
