Xin chao,
Just use the terminal to create a folder called .fonts in your home directory and copy a Unicode font file into it. I just used the Arial MS Unicode from my windows computer and it works great for Tieng Viet and Thai.

what is home directory? I did copy Arial to this /usr/share/fonts and went through all kind of caching stuff, still does not work. What did I do wrong?

Your home directory is /home/user (the default directory that xterm opens in).

The instruction said I need to install wget and e2fprogs. I looked for them but found nowhere. Are you good with Linux?

I'm not great with Linux, but the instructions for booting from MMC at http://maemo.org/community/wiki/howt...from_mmc_card/ don't say anything about wget. Give them a try.

Dear all. I can not add Vietnamese fonts in to n800. I spend lot of time around Hochiminh city and people always said CAN NOT. I am very surprise and very upsad. Can someone teach or guide me step by step how to do it. It would be great because as an Vietnamese and can not read Vietnamese word from webside is very same. Thanks

Easiest way to do has been shown in here:
http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ead.php?t=8631
but the above link should be ok also!

You should get a decent SD card, 8GB or more. Clone the OS into it. It will run faster; also, you can use it to replace your MP3/or movie player!
