Battery Life
 

With this new upgrade for os2008 on n800.....how long should you charge the battery, with os2007 its likr 3hrs and now w/ 2008 seems longer then 5hrs but not sure never got the battery full icon ...

Thanks, seems like its about 7-8hrs to charge the battery now, i left it over night and it showed me the battery full icon

I've yet to have it actually show me the "battery full" icon or message on it's own UNTIL I tap the battery icon with the charger in and then it will.

Also, I forgot - as I usually do - that when I re-flash it sets the Bluetooth to discovery mode which seems to destroy batteries. I've a desk charger and two extras and went through all three in a day, until I turned that off after adding my keyboard - now it lasts into the night.

Yeah on the taskbar - if I turn off bluetooth, which "I believe" is only for others to discover YOU, it'll save quite a bit of battery - at least for me.

OS2007 also saves a lot of battery life.

The wording of your racist/xenophobic statement speaks for itself. Had you referred to "China and Mexico" instead of "Chinese and Mexican's" (It's "Mexican", "Mexican's" infers ownership of something you never mentioned) it'd be a bit of a different story, but it's still a pointless one.

Are you aware that your tablet is made in Finland? With parts coming from Asian countries? And SW written by people with over 20 different nationalities?
Ah, but you must be thinking about the processor, that's Texas Instrument, right?
Designed in France and verified Bangalore. It must make you really proud ...
