So maybe something else that the community wants and won't contribute to or use will come out of this thread! :) |
Re: A new thread! PAY ATTENTION TO *ME*!!!
i know this thread is a joke, but honestly success rate of finding an answer by searching here is very minimal. search function is pretty basic.
there should be a sticky, how-to, or some master thread that links to other threads with solutions etc. some topics include many many threads and solution is buried somewhere that would take months of reading to get through. and between 770, 800, 810, and all the OS versions, the possible permutation of variables keeps increasing. |

Speak of the devil.
By the way, have you tried the custom Google search I created when everyone said the search here sucks? Search ITT with Google I see Reggie even added it to the Search section on the site's main page. Doesn't seem to have solved too many problems either though. |

I did notice that the wiki does not have posting guidelines for newbies. |

It's either this thread or back to yelling at the Canola2 devs for being *****s releasing it on slow-assed , no-bandwidth Maemo servers.

Re: A new thread! PAY ATTENTION TO *ME*!!!
why not have volunteer mods deleting redundant threads and or posts.
i wouldn't mind if my question was redundant and got deleted, only if it meant that many more like it got deleted and answer was easier to find. isn't there enough people who want to mod the forums? |
Re: A new thread! PAY ATTENTION TO *ME*!!!
Actually it is quite easy using your own profile page via quick link.
If you are someone who answers posts regularly with useful solutions then you can quickly find and post a link to your own previous post. The same goes if you have started constructive threads, these are also easy to find using your own dang profile page. The only annoyance I have with this is that because of the minimum post size, you can't (as I often wished I could) simply reply to another members query with just the link. |
