Slixor,

Experience of others on the forum suggests that your contacts will appear, but you may need to wait a day or so...

I do not have a nickname set, and I'm able to log into MSN fine.

Dude you rock, seriously. That worked for me, I'm using my Gmail with MSN. With no nickname, I was unable to log in, just kept trying endlessly. Added a nickname and I'm rocking and rolling. Seriously, thanks.

Just so that I am clear, installing the beta is the most current incarnation? Will this update through the application manager? When it comes out of Beta, will the application manager update it to the release candidate?

In regards to gizmo functionality, if I setup the SIP Phone account using my gizmo login, I can trash Gizmo? One thing I noticed is that I don't see my one Gizmo contact and I don't see the ability for me to view Gizmo contacts (which is what I nicknamed my Sip Phone account on the 810). While I know there could be some lag involved in getting my Sip Phone contacts, shouldn't I still see "Gizmo" as one of my contact Groups in the drop down menu of the Chat app contact list? Or did I set up this wrong to tie into my Gizmo account? Instead of my gizmo Sip #, I used my account nickname (dubiousmike) and it seems to connect fine (no connection errors).

Lastly, would someone be so kind as to give me a GrandCentral invite? itt_at_mikedube.com. :)

BTW, excellent thread...

Well, it took GrandCentral less than 1 hour to give me an invite through their site, so that part is done. :)

Ok, so I just got my N810, and I'm understanding that NO ONE has installed the latest update for this without sending their device to the reboot loop? Kinda sucks, how am I supposed to get this feature on my new toy?

rcadden, I suggest you wait until this new feature isn't "beta" anymore.

haha, too late (I figured I can always just reflash the thing if I kill it), but it works fine, no problems.

Just be sure you reboot after installing it, because that's when you find out about the problem.

FWIW, I've installed all the RTCOMM betas, and the only problems I've seen have been having to readd all my Wifi Access Point information, retethering to my phone, and the blue-Z thingy in Application Manager.

No reboot loops, here.
