[Palm OS] Datebk6
Has anyone gotten Datebk6 to work with the GVM? I've been trying and keep getting a "getting size failed" error.
I did try DB6 and it seemed to work ok, except I can't create any tasks. Not sure why Access didn't include the todo application and database. Anyone worked around that? |
Re: Datebk6
I got DateBk5 working, but not 6. Your "size" error would make me look at the two size settings in the GVM. One is the overall Storage Heap size accessible from the Settings button in the GVM (I believe this is the total memory size of the virtual machine; I set mine to 64MB). The other is the Dynamic Heap Size for the app, from the Configure button once an app is selected in the GVM, which I would assume is the memory space allocated to that app. That seems to default to 2MB, so I would try to up it to 4MB and see if it makes a difference.
Don't know if that helps, but something to look at, anyway! |
Re: Datebk6
I hit this problem too. DateBk5 worked fine, but DateBk6 crashed with the "getting size failed" error on startup each time.
But I eventually got DateBk6 working :) Here's how.
Hope that helps. Brookiemonsta |
