[Canola] Feature suggestion : Set as Wallpaper
 

I've found the Photo viewer in Canola to be great, but it's missing a feature that I think people may like -- the ability to select an image and make it the wallpaper on the Home screen

Does anyone here think this feature might be useful? Or at least easy to add to Canola2 :D

I think his feature would be great, it would greatly shotcut the usual way of setting wallpapers!

Hi guys,

Actually this is in our plans, but really far in the priority list =) there's already a lot of important fixes / features to come.

The only constraint about this is : how to garantee that the text is going to be readable and to create a "neutral" color theme so any picture can be used as background (as well neutral icons)


But this is for sure a needed for customization, please tell me what you guys would like to see in this side.

I think for the menu is easy to set a custom wallpaper, but for the others screens I think even the regular wallpapers can be not optimal for listing content.

I think he means the OS2007/8 Wallpaper not Canola's
