Nokia N810 w/ Mot Razr 3 as modem
 

Just can't get this to work for me. Just got the N810 and I thought I caoul just bluetooth the connection and use the internet via the razr no problem. However the only thing I accomplished was getting them to pair after that I can't online with the n810.

Any help would be appreciated!

Do you have any kind of Data plan (along with the Voice Plan) from your Phone Service Provider ? Normally you need a Data plan to get online ( tethering the ITT to a Blutooth Phone ).

So, for example with T-mobile Voice plan you will need ' T-Mobile Unlimited Internet Plan ' to tether the phone to the ITT and get unlimited. So there will be two plans involved , a Voice Plan to make and receive calls and a Data plan to surf to the Internet.

This then, would be the $ 5.99 Plan ? If so , this would only allow you to get to T-Mobile specific websites. This is not unlimited Internet. The Unlimited Internet Plan allows you unlimited surfing and it is $ 19.99 a month.

It is in Control Panel / Connectivity settings.

Type : Packet Data

Phone Number to dial: *99#

APN: wap.voicestream.com

username: <blank>

password: <blank>

ADVANCED -

Proxy: 216.155.165.50 port:8080

I only have the options of:

GPRS
DATA CALL
WLAN

I assume GPRS?

I know, I'm talking about the Nokia.

Connection Setup: Name and type

Connection type:
GPRS
DATA CALL
WLAN

If I hit next on GPRS then it show the APN field, Dial-up number, etc.
