Awesome.

Click on the red monitor (Danger, Will Robinson!) in KDE, type the commands.
Back to Maemo for a check, and Emel, she complains no more.

Thank you, sir.

I maybe just missed a post or something. I apologize if this is a case of RTFM. A bunch of configuration dialogues for KDE programs always go off the screen. Is there a way to set in the xserver preferences or something a tall screen res that we can scroll? I was able to do say a ctrl enter sometimes to dismiss the dialogues but there were always settings that were not accessible because I cannot see them below the screen.

While this has been answered many, many time - you've caught me in a descent mood - so I'll answer it again :p

While there is no way to permanently change the configuration dialogues & forcing the windows to resize only ends up cutting off the most important part of the window (ie: OK Apply Cancel) - you can assign a button to "Move Window" command, which will at least allow you to move the window up so that you can get to the bottom part of the screen.

To assign "Move Window" -> Open Control Center -> Regional & Accessibility -> Keyboard Shortcuts -> scroll down until you find Move Window -> select it -> make a custom shortcut.

Now if you've got an N810 then you have a ton of possibilities on which button or combination of buttons you assign to the action. If you've got a N800 then your choices are much more limited. You might search the forums to see if any N800 users posted successful button assignments if you need help there.:D

Is there anyway to find out what combination of keys are available for shortcut, as almost ALL "CTRL + " has already been used by some program? If the answer is NO, what is the next key combo you would recommand, CTRL+shift+key or CTRL+Fn+key?

By chance, I find out the "Fn" has NOT been used, so that is my "window move" key :)

TIA,

bun
