I've read tons of reviews and followed these forums, as you guys know, and I feel like I'm the only one completely embarassed to pull this pouch out in public. I mean, the design is miles ahead of the useless thing the N800 came with, but who in their right mind chose the colors?

I mean, seriously, grey and teal?! WTF? Am I the only one who thinks this thing is ugly as sin?

i got my N810 second hand and the original owner actually lost the case... i didn't mind one bit.

i think i'm going to pick up one of those generic-looking cases for the PSP or Nintendo DS, but i'm having trouble finding one that's not branded as such.

The snazzy Case Logic cases I bought for our N800s should work even better on the N810-- and they were $5 at the time. Google, man, google!

EDIT: never mind Ricky, ya lazy bum-- I googled for ya. It's a PLTK-10 BLACK and I found them for $10 at one source.

These suckers have a hook-and-loop at the top as well as a snapping belt loop inside. The PERFECT N810 case!

EDIT 2: oh, and grey and blue are 2 official Nokia corporate colors, although the blue shade on the slip cover is off...

The pouch makes my N810 just too long to fit into my shirt pocket.
I'm waiting for one of the Hong Kong book-type.
In the meantime, I'm just being careful.

I wouldn't use the pouch, anyway.
I need one handed use.

Thanks for the links, I may take it up to Best Buy in a bit to see if I can't find something there. All I need is a simple pouch, so I don't know if one of the custom cases would really work.

On a side note, I realize the Nokia colors are grey and blue, but this isn't blue. it's teal. Why not the same material that the N800 case was made from, only keeping with the new design? Wny hot a black case?

Thanks, and killer blog design, btw. However, I like the idea of a pouch, only really used for carrying. I've never been big on the full-time cases like that, personally.

I just wanted to see if I was the only person who thought this thing is hideous.

I found a rather nifty, black pleather, PDA/big cell pouch at my local dollar general for $1.

It's padded, and fits my N800 (and presumably any I-Tablet) snuggly (at only half-height). It also belt-clips.

But, so far, I only carry my IT in a shirt or jacket pocket. I'm thinking such a belt holster will come in handy in warmer months.

You could try to dye the felt interior yourself. People have dyed their jeans black or blue for years, perhaps these denim dyes work here as well? Hopefully the leather exterior won't absorb too much of the dye to become spotty...

Personally, I don't think the pouch is too bad. And even if it was, I've developed a motion to get the N810 out of the pouch so that the pouch stays in my jeans/jacket pocket.

I like the colors, they go well with the device. I would be much more embarrassed using a bt keyboard out in public.

I just think the n810 is too "sexy" for a geeky device. I'm afraid when I pull it out people will think I'm "metro".

lol - neckbeards suck, anyways I wish I could grow one but my hair doesn't grow that way. I am lucky to have a goatee if I try hard enough, and I'm 29. The hair on the sides of my head are already half grey!

I just got a Lowepro Apex PVAW case for my n800, very pleased with it. Should be fine also for an n810

I don't mind the color of the pouch - what I mind is that it's a pouch and not a book-style case. But I'm not buying one until they come out with something other than black, black or black! Who's designing these cases, Henry Ford? How about saddle tan or red? C'mon, Piel Frama or Vaja or Fortte, I know you can do it...

I don't really want to color the device, I just want a nice padded leather case that isn't boring black.

Ebay Case.

Actually, I like this case the best of all - but the ebay page doesn't have any information if it lets the keyboard slide open. The photos dont show the bottom part at all.

Talking about cases, I always loved Vaja cases - they are uber-cool and come is so many colors (for male and female tastes).
Wish Vaja would make a case for the N810.
Piel is also another good one - but I didnt like their IT cases that much.
