I enjoy my BoxWave anti-glare coating - it makes using the onscreen keyboard much easier, and I feel good using the thumb keyboard - no/few fingerprints and easy to clean. I feel better being tactile (touching with fingers) with my tablet with the protector on. The BoxWave ones are the super thick washable ones, and yes, they are very thick but I feel improve the responsiveness of the touch screen.

Comepletely agree.

I went without any protector until I got my first scratch. Residue on the screen + stylus = scratch.

The boxwave ones do wash well. They greatly improve readability in direct sunlight, and improve touchscreen response.

Hi :)

I love my N810. Just started using FBreader and playing puzzle bobble on it..YAY. I also love scribbling down notes on it during lectures (maybe doodling more then note taking :P.... ^.^).

Should I buy a screen protector for my N810 or will the screen be fine with me poking at it.....because I think I see the screen has 2 or maybe 4 scratchers already :(

I would not recommend you BUY a screen protector. Rather as I've posted elsewhere:

I think there was another thread on this - do a search.
My solution I found there for my 810 is:
Obtain a sheet of overlay transparency film such as is used for view-graphs. Cut a piece slightly oversize and slip it under the bezel.
Cost - almost nil
Time to obtain - minimal

The second day I was showing my 810 around at work one guy played with the screen and it looked like he had just oiled his car, and my 810. The next day the protector was on.

That was back in November, I'm now on my third one. And I don't regret the minute or so it takes me to cut and install.
