[Canola] Sneak peek into the blue theme
 

Some people asked the old blue theme back, so we answered =) here are some screen from the theme that is coming in the next update... like the previous one it uses the crystal clear icon set.

With this theme and one visually simpler on the oven, we will close our theme developments and try to provide people all they would need to make their own themes.

Hi El amir, we are not going to take merits by this =) The icons are from the KDE, made by Everaldo, like the previous cristal on KDE3 also made by him.

They really look amazing.

hmm, i dont like to be an arse, but the orange sorta is i dunno, a little off
but i love the blue background, i think that other than the orange, it looks absoulutly beautiful, i think the icons work great with the background, giving it sorta a outside theme, or maybe a realism theme, i love it, but the orange...
lol, i dunno, its just a little off i guess, but the black that was otherwise used wouldnt work with this either, it really stinks to be the guy complaining with no solution... but uh, well i dunno again, color not my strong point, but i'm complaining, lol, ranting now
but it almost hurts me that the orange ruins the entire theme for me, because its so well thought out, or at least thought out well, the difference being the action and the product, the product being great of course (cept for orange)

Looks nice, also the icons seem like they're from different sets. Like they have a different perspective. Also if you use a picture of the medium used for movies i would use a picture of the medium used for music as well (tape,cd ). And for pictures use just the picture, no camera. Anyway just my two cents.

Asqwasqw : we still "making" it , so if this is also happening between other people =) we may change , or maybe do a more blue + white only theme. Orange and blue are really strong combination that generates diverse opinions =) it's more or less if we have used green and red (complimentary colors )

Zeez: I do have the worries about "unified looks" and pespective .. (if you use the graphite team, we changed some icons because of the pespective) and we are not doing those icons (they are the same icon set from the first Canola) used now in KDE4 AFAIK. About the medium for movies, yeah the movie stripe is the medium isn't ? =) I know nowdays they are more digital then ever, but what's the difference between the mediuns when you go digital (none) =)

*but the pespective also bothers me...

If we can find inside the set more suitable themes we can change, no problem =)
