+1

- the PSP protectors are common, [relatively] inexpensive, and work well

- AFA a case: a soft, zippered DS case w/internal storage pocket runs about US$9 here (found one in Circuit City) and stores one n800, wallwart, shorty USB cable, adapter, and thumbdrive rather handily...

For screen protectors go to http://www.zagg.com/ I got one a while back, seems to be pretty good products (I havent used the n800 one yet but I did apply one to my w810i mobile phone and it works great)...

As for case, I found a case logic portable hard drive case which fits great and works really well!

Got my n800 after Christmas and turn it off and on each day and have never run into any on/off issue so not overly concerned about it!

Just got my N800 after pondering over it for the longest time! The N800 came with OS2007. I went ahead and upgraded to OS2008 after charging the battery to full. It took only less than 2 mins!

I'll be buying a screen protector for it tomorrow. Does the N800 support 2 x 16GB SDHC max? I tried to fit the N800 with the default pouch into my NDSL case, but no go. Just the N800 alone will fit the NDSL case, but it doesn't look too good.

Well I'm wondering if any NDSL case will fit the N800 with the default pouch just nice?

The brand new OS2008 firmware released this week has solved the power on issue that I had. It's a great device.

As long as the cards are SDHC, you can go as high as you want (do not know the actual limit but I think I read it is in the terabytes), 32GB is what they have now but they are way pricey, but yes, the 16GBs should do it.

Hello everyone. I'm new to this site as of today.

I've also got the N800 this past week. Was thinking about this as far back as the N770, but I'm glad I waited. N800 looks beautiful. Upgrade to OS2008 was painless.

The first thing I noticed is that web browsing totally blows my iPaq away.

Working my way through it now. First frustrations are:

-why can't I get any of my PDFs to reflow when I increase the magnification. Chasing the text around the screen is a major pain. I have no trouble with the same docs on the ipaq.

Other thing is with regard to videos. I have read dozens of postings on the video performance issue, and had pretty much given up trying to see useful video on this device, but General Antilles - how have you managed to make this a usable video platform?

I don't see your problem. Install mplayer, and keep the sizes and bitrates reasonable—no problems. . . .

FWIW, I'm running two Adata 16GB SDHCs in my N800 now, and I had a 16GB Transcend SDHC until two days back when it died in a very inelegant fashion.
