Theme editor?

Is there a theme editor for OS2008, or a good tutorial for theme editing?

You might start here ...

Moifying an existing theme can't be all that different from creating one, no?

It looks pretty good, my only gripes are the smaller font and white font in white selection highlight. I wouldn't mind the small font if it didn't decrease the size of pulldown menus and such. They were hard to press before, now they are even harder.

The app switcher button has white font and when you highlight one of the items it highlights in white making it very hard to read.

Looking forward to more themes, I can't believe there are only like 5!

Glad you found Tablet-Guru. I poked around with Theme Maker myself. It's really not that complicated, specially if you have Photoshop (or gIMP) skills. Basically you open this huge PNG file that has EVERY graphical element to the theme laid out somehow. You customize what you want (colors, textures, etc) and then use the Theme Maker to convert the PNG file into a .deb. Easy peasy.

You guys let me know if you get around to creating a new theme, I'd love to highlight it on T-G. Maybe I'll hold a contest or something.

Ahh... cool that you guys have noticed the theme maker. Also, if you are testing it out, you should use the photoshop file as editing place and export as png. The topmost layer (that is diabled) is the 'cut' layer, so by enabling that you can see where exactly the theme will be cut for each element.
