All I want to do is use my second NIT as a bedside Clock/Radio, but the only full screen clock I found for the device needs PYTHON 2.5 installed (mClock), but in doing so there is a chance I might destroy my device. I have no idea what they mean by "going to root" and "flasher" and "Sudo" etc. Who would have thought a simple clock app would be so difficult to install.

If you want to have Python installed just to run an application, you should ONLY have to install that application. E.g. Install canola 2 (beta) and Python will appear. You only need to "do weird stuff" if you only want Python and nothing else. |
