Yes, I had the exact same problem as you! Thx for this tip, I was starting to get frustrated. It is annoying that you have to click on the specific folders. Hopefully that gets fixed. Cheers!

Steel, so probably you have a defective installation : / or something on your card is breaking (a bug on canola) canola when starting scanner : / If you help me duplicate your problem we would for sure fix it

had the same problem of items not found.
ran canola from xterm and for some reason it found all the songs.

I reinstalled OS2008, got canola working, still not adding music files. I used canola -vv and this is the part of the log that is shown when I check my music folder under settings. Hope it helps.

I have this set of .m4a songs that play just fine in Canola2 but it can't see any of the tags in there : so no album cover and no information ...

Fredoll, we added improved support for the m4a files, but I don't know if the embedded art is picking up from this extension (I know that we are supporting mp3 embedded) .

cLin : you still facing this problem.. is you disk on " good shape " ? can you try formating it and copying your files again. then trying adding just one internal folder?

I've got the same problem as Caleb. Canola is finding some of my Mp3s but not all of them. Interestingly, it's found a couple off one album, but not the entire album. It's also missed some albums out all together... some of which it was finding fine a couple of updates back.

FYI - media player is seeing my entire collection just fine.

Stoo, yeah : / we ended up introducing some bugs due to a fix on the infra for the scanner, can you send us some of the files that the scanner is not showing ?
