Congrats on the new release, I tried the new Black theme and it works GREAT! It made Canola faster and more responsive. The scrolling works good and everything seems to work fine. Since I configured b5 to NOT use any folders, it looks like it kept my old database whick I populated "manually" and everything works good. That might be a tip for some of the users if they are "scared" of loosing their music database. Back it up, and if for some reason the scanner does not index your music correctly just restore your old DB.

I'll later try the updated scanner to see if it now indexes all of my songs correctly.

Well, stoo :) it shows that the problem was in the version :) but we really wanted to fix it. Strange thing because I did passed your files forward, and the guys said it was working.

Well, so I have the files, I will again take a look

GErald : Don't worry :) I'm not trying to justify an error :) we will improve, and as I said, if I want to not add stop, I do need to make sure you have all the features in a natural way.

Sorry for the mistake not being fixed still.. but with your enconding info will be easier now!

i have another slightly odd bug. when selecting some movies, it starts loading the file, then plays the first second of that movie, and then skips to the start of the next movie inn the list.

if i then skip back, it goes back to the movie i selected and plays fine.

movies are mpeg4 with .mp4 extention, using built in mediaplayer for play back. all worked fine in beta5.

But beta 6 is finding and playing your .m4a files? Did you encode the files yourself? Neither beta 5 nor 6 have found my .m4a files, and I'm trying to determine what I did to make them screwy.

beta6 is looking great. I love the blue theme, and the additions to the podcast section is great. I love 'today's podcasts' and 'new podcasts'. Just great.

I still have two albums where the tags are reading the composer field as the genre.

Could you replace the yellow selection color in the Graphite theme with somewhat more subdued blue or white?

for the record, i like the yellow selection colour in the grey theme. and my favoured theme just now is the flat red one.

looking forward to theme editor on phptoshop.

DISTORTION ISSUE: Every so often my songs play distorted. Sounds like an overdriven preamp. I mostly use WMAs. Usually closing and reopening Canola clears the issue. Can't reproduce, but I'll try to pay more attention to what causes it. I know you can't do anything based on this sketch info, but I thought I'd mention.
