email not sending but can retrieve
 

Hi all, got my N810 today and love it, I have just set up mt bt email settings and it downloaded all my emails to the N810 fine, but when I try to send an email, it come up that it has an smtp error I have tried to send via my wireless and bluetooth mobile networks and get the same result, can anyone help

Check your outgoing SMTP server address. You should use the one from your network provider even if your email address is from somewhere else. ISP:s generally lock down the smtp-servers so that you can only access them from inside their own network.

Hi Naranek.... all sorted now, I had to set up the outgoing mail to "login" option tab, and now it works :-)
