I can't copy or paste using the N800's on screen keyboard. I can highlight the field but when I select the copy or paste action the highlight looses focus and vice versa.

One thing i would like to add to isearch-edit is the possibility to scale down big logos, so it would be possible to just save the normal logo from the homepage of YouTube for example and use it for the search with just a few additional clicks.

Aha, I didn't think about copyright issues, though I can't imagine they'd be too upset, given that your app is enabling easier use of their sites. Still, I can respect you wanting to respect them. I wonder if, similar to MyCroft, you could just use their Favicon somehow, with some whitespace on either side. Then leave the option for the user to change it to their own image, if desired?

Yes, this is a known problem, i still have to figure out how to fix this issue, maybe i will add a new dialog where the values can be changed instead of the inline editing of the table.

For a temporary workaround, Ctrl+v in an OSK like xvkbd works fine.

Just closing and re-opening the search-applet is enough.

I know that this might not be really intuitive, but as far as i know, there is no other way. (I am not 100% sure and i can not validate it, because the search-applet is closed-source.)

I guess i should add some kind of online-help to the program which describes the procedure. :)

Anyone have a backup of the isearch-edit? Reinstalling apps on my tablet and it seems to have dissapeared from the repo.

It is currently only available in the extras-devel-repositories of Chinook and Diablo, i want to fix a few problems before i move it to the extras-repositories.

I just put all the searches on one page so i don't have to open up different pages for different searches.

Here's what I use.

Google
Wikipedia
Ebay
Youtube

<form method="get" action="http://www.google.com/search">
<input type="text" name="q" size="30" maxlength="255" value="" />
<input type="submit" value="Google Search" />
</form>

<form action="http://www.wikipedia.org/search-redirect.php" method="get">
<input type="hidden" name="language" value="en" />
<input type="text" name="search" size="30" />
<input type="submit" name="Wikipedia Search" value="Wikipedia Search" />
</form>

<form method="get" action="http://search.ebay.ca/search/search.dll" name="headerSearch">
<input type="hidden" name="from" value="R40"><input type="hidden" name="_trksid" value="m37">
<input tabindex="1" type="text" name="satitle" id="satitle" value="" maxlength="300" size="30" class="srchfld">
<input type="submit" value="eBay Search" tabindex="3">
</form>

<form method="get" action="http://www.youtube.com/results">
<input type="text" name="search_query" maxlength="128" size="30">
