You can get a router and flash it with dd-wrt (here's a list of compatible devices). Supports soft MAC, and as a bonus, you can use it as an openvpn server for when you are on the road with your n800.

I have two Buffalo WHR-G54S routers, cost about 40 dollars in Korea.

I have 3 WHR-G125s ($30 a piece on sale), and they're great routers to replace the WRT-54G (since the newer models tend to be absolute garbage), unfortunately, due to a patent injunction, you can't currently buy Buffalo networking products in the US.

Still, if they ever get back on the market, or you happen to want to try getting one used from somewhere, I heartily recommend them.

Yep, I was all set to buy a Buffalo wireless Ethernet converter when that injunction hit. I'm going to have to break down and buy a wireless bridge from someone else soon. Grrr.
