I made a playlist (attachement, remove .txt part) of the
named 220 streams (last part of the list),
country name is now in English and it is sorted
by country.

However, I tested these streams with Windows XP
mediaplayer and real player and I managed to
play only very few streams (five of the 75 streams
I tested). Perhaps this is very old list or my XP mediaplayers
aren't working very well. I hope you have better luck
with these streams. i didn't test these streams with
my N800 because it is easier to test these first with XP.

Just upload another version, 99TV4ITc.m3u.txt, which included all ch8xy's suggestions and mms://, plus some improvements in arrangement.
Arrangement is essentially the same as explained in previous version, sorted by languages, then follow with News, movies, MTV. Among each category, it is arranged alphabetically. Now I have put those stream well, better video quality stuff at the beginning. So, one would expect quality goes down as one stroll down each subcategory. For example, under Eng, the beginning close to 30 TVs are all stream well and good video quality. The higher up in the subheading, eg. Eng, French, Russian, the better the video quality. Quality measures only video/streaming quality only, content is NOT measured.

Edit: Now you can see the names of the TV channels, 99TV4IT8d.m3u.txt has the same TV channels as 99TV4IT8c.m3u.txt, but with a description of the TV channels. You click the mms:// to play the station, NOT the TV descripton. If this is too confusing, then just use the 99TV4IT8c.m3u.txt, which does NOT have the channel descriptions. Please let me know which is a more user friendly version, thanks.

I went through your last -d.m3u file and checked all streams
with mplayer.

I made some changes:

Removals:
- Skynews Australia removed (it is one static clip)
- CBS 19: removed the extra auth line, stream doesn't need it
- bbc looknorth had wrong url, corrected url and name (oficial name is? BBC Look North) new url :

- I removed the homepage part because it confused mplayer osd list of channel names
(mplayer didn't allways show any part of the stream name and showed just an empty line)

- Eurosport and fox8 lines were together (one line), Eurosport doesnt work, removed it
- PBS Nature and PBS NOVA removed, static clips, although intresting

It might well be that the streams i removed plays in the future without
any change (many reasons for that) but I wanted to leave just the
(now) more or less working streams.
Please try those streams I removed and tell it they start to work
again (might be geographical location question too).

If you want to save the attachment to test these new

I agreed with everything you said. BTW, I cheated. Big time cheating. I tested all my last post, -d.m3u.txt, with eeePC. They are more closer to the tablet than the PC and can pick up a lot more. For example, the GlobeTrecker was readily picked up on the eeePC I then hold on to it for a couple of day, now it showed regularly on the tablet.

I can't cheat because I don't have eeePC! That is so unfair. I am now
quite busy with my normal life and can't use much my N800 or check
your VC channels until after this torsday. After that I promise to
look your VC channel collection. I also intend to add some more links
to your -d-list when I have some free time.
