Unionfs, has anyone tried this?
Has anyone tried installing unionfs? If you have multiple RS-MMC cards, you are able to save different "profiles" for each card. Root filesystem is extended onto RS-MMC. Seems to have simple install.

Yep, and IMHO it's a much cleaner solution than the symlinks one. Works well on both 2005-42 and 2006-13.
I've got mounts of:
i.e. anything I may have customised but want to stay over a reflash. Arguably it also alleviate's the need for backup. Cheers, Andrew |
I did not think of the backup aspect of this. I will give it a go. Did you notice any preformance hit? Stability? Thanks.
