Was this app made for the N900 ?
When wiimote is started in terminal u can see the reaction of the buttons and what they do.
Packet len 4: 0xa1300008
aPacket len 4: 0xa1300000
Funny thing is this one :
Unknown packet len 8: 0xa12000081000003b
This msg is coming when wiicontrol starts, and when the Nunchuck gets pulled out of the remote.
So i guess there is something wrong with the connection to the nunchuck, and that's maby why it wont work.
I dont have a classic controller to test what happens there.

Hi all
I'm trying to get wiicontrol to work on my n900 but when i try to install it using this command line :
dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/wiicontrol.deb

I get an error message that says :

pre-dependency problem :
wiicontrol pre-depends on maemo-select-menu-location
maemo-select-menu-location is not installed

I read that maemo-select-menu-location does not exist anymore so is there a way to fix this please?

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone in this amazing community! I finally got my wiimote to sync, my problem was i had to go and change my keyboard lettering to a &b in drnoksnes from k&l or something. Its a little laggy but working fine :D

grabed it in repository (first time i saw it) and now it works perfectly

note for qwerty keyboard users: dont forget to set phone language to English before starting wiicontrol, otherwise you won't be able to set "up" and "down" arrows

Maybe it would be possible to include this fonction in program to support qwerty keyboards?

I have a qwerty N900, since I'm from Sweden..
I tried to change language to english, both UK and US.. But the damn thing still wont let me map the up and down-keys on the wiimote.. Just keeps saying left and right >_<

What do I do?

Use WiiMote as Bluetooth Gamepad or Remote Control (Works globally with any game!)

1. move file in zip to "/usr/bin/" (backup/overwrite)

2. config DrNokSnes with the following:
