Goosh, a Web-based command-line interface for Google, works rather well on our Internet Tablets.....

This is cool. But what is the optimum usage scenario? Does it work with lynx?
I mean, if you still need a full blown browser, it seems that we're missing out on the high points of command line tools (scriptable, pipe-able, can ben run over terminal\ssh, etc). |
Re: Goosh, a Web-based command-line interface for Google
The point? To me the only point of goosh is "cause we can" or "cause it's fun!". :) It's not really usable as an actual command-line tool, as far as I can tell.

I get time-outs on my N810. But I can use joystick up to recall the previous command, and that usually works. I like the way it returns minimalist output, e.g. in maps. translation is neat, too. |
