Good to see you back, look at your clone thread, newbies screaming for help during your absence, and I think I took care a couple for you....

Odd that. For the past few days the RT stream didn't work and looking at the website I noticed the stream had changed into one starting with http:// but your link seemed to work fine again.

The inability to play the TV5 stream is disappointing. Is anyone on the mplayer dev team out there to fix this problem? Probably end up with yet another media player knowing our luck. :p

(increase cache, -quiet suppresses some console output which

mplayer -quiet -cache 800 -framedrop mms://wms.visionip.tv/RT

TV5 is mms://stream.grafton.lv/live_tv5
With my Windows XP Media player it plays fine (not just intro).

With Internet Tablet it plays only the intro because Internet
Tablet doesn't support internal mms playlist format (I don't remember
where I heard this: mms stream is proprietary format and
Linux programmers don't know how to interpret that stream
fully) so it plays just the first stream entry, in this case, the intro.

I have started to use the Personal Menu app but it's not flawless. When I enter the command to play the stream it opens two Xterm windows which need closing after I have closed mplayer.
