Changing the keyboard theme?
 

Hey. I got the IPhone keyboard theme for the N800 from maemo.org.
Only problem is I don't know how to change the theme.
Can anyone help please?

Dan, are you talking about the edje virtual keyboard? If you are, that was a demo of a possible keyboad for Canola 2. Search for "edje virtual keyboard" to find out more.

If you are talking about some other keyboard, I would be interested in it too.

heh, count me in. i have seen some screenshots or videos where people have white background and black keys on their onscreen keyboard, and would like to know what theme they used to get that effect.

Hi!

Do you mean the "finger keayboard"

When you get the on screen keyboard you press the middle navi key.
Then you get the finger keayboard....

The keyboard design is part of the theme. Edit the graphics of the theme you are currently using (/usr/share/themes/$MBTHEME/) and you can change the keyboard design.

i seem to have tracked it down to the 2007 default theme or something like that...

and yes, i could probably mess around with the theme files to change it, but its not that big of a deal. i was curious, thats all...

i'd like to request a modified Echo theme with the black thumb keyboard from the os2007 default theme :)

hmm, if its as simple as it seems, maybe ill give the echowb a onesover and see if i can do something there ;)

Hmm, I see nothing special when compared to the keyboard from the Felicia theme in OS2008. If people really want it, I may be tempted to mount up an os2007 rootfs...
