Re: N810 OTG USB Adapters

Just to clarify things here... the N810 adapter will happen, but the problem right now is cost factors; due to the relatively "new" microUSB connector on the N810 I'd have to purchase a much larger quantity of "N810 adapters" in order to keep the costs relatively close (unless there's a lot of voiced oppinion saying you're willing to pay like $15-20 for the thing), and at the moment I just don't have the funding for it (now if somebody was willing to commit to buying, say, 3000 of them, that might be a different story lol but as it stands I simply don't have the funds for the long term investment required). So, at the end of the day, once I have gone through approximately 1/2 of the N800 "Swivel" adapters, I should have enough capital to look at the N810 ones again, but it'll take a while (at least a few months at this rate). Sorry guys, wish I could say I've got 'em right now or they'll be in next week, but not enough funds...

Thanks,
-Rob

Not a problem here, Rob-- that Motorola adapter works great.

Thanks Texrat, do you have a link to the motorola adapter? Searching Amazon gave quite a few results, not sure if they are all the same.

EDIT: Sorry, just found it on the EPO page, thanks.

Re: N810 OTG USB Adapters

today i lost a pendrive, an F-F adaptor atached to it, and a standar Usb-micro usb cable attached to the adaptor. None of the such a big loss but the three together was a bit to much. Had it in my pocket and ten minutes later it wasn't there :( .
Any ways, the F-F adaptor cost me around 3 bucks in my local electronics shop, and worked nicely with the cable. So unless you are going for the smaller form factor, i would recomend that configuration.

I found a similar adapter to habril's micro-b male to usb a female in post #32, but from a U.S. reseller.

Here's the link: http://www.twstore.com/gcusbafzm.html

I don't have one yet so I can't confirm if it works and the shipping brings the total cost to ~$16, but it might be a good option if you don't mind switching to host mode with software.

Edit: Just received in the mail and can confirm that it works.

Thats cute addisjon. Wish there was some more sources for them. That store you linked only ships international with a minimum order.
